Procedure
Breast augmentation is a surgical procedure that improves the size and shape of the breast with silicone or saline implants. The procedure is performed under general anesthesia and is tailored to your personal anatomy and desired outcome.
Types of Implants and Placement
We offer both round implants, which provide more fullness and volume (especially in the upper part of the breast), and drop-shaped implants (anatomical) that provide a more natural, sloping silhouette. Round implants can sometimes mimic a droplet shape after being placed due to natural movement and positioning. Drop-shaped implants require a slightly larger incision, usually below the breast fold, while round implants can be inserted through a smaller incision in the armpit. Implants can be placed either above or below the muscle, depending on your anatomy and desired appearance. Your surgeon will help you make the most appropriate choice during your consultation.
